Tell President Biden & Congress: Summer heat emergency shows climate action can't wait

Climate action can’t wait. While last year’s landmark climate legislation – the Inflation Reduction Act, the most sweeping climate and clean energy law ever created in the U.S. – represents major progress, there’s still more to be done to confront the increasingly urgent climate crisis and secure healthy, equitable climate action.

With a Republican House majority, our progress on a clean energy future for all could be threatened. A divided Congress can and should instead come together on popular national priorities like securing our clean energy future by fully funding the implementation of the Inflation Reduction Act, reducing health-threatening pollution, and blocking new oil and gas drilling on our shared public lands, among other priorities.

Tell President Biden and Congress to continue working to enact game-changing climate action now, before the most vulnerable among us pay a price they can’t afford for a crisis they didn’t cause.
