As global temperatures climb, extreme weather events like wildfire, hurricanes, and floods are becoming more intense and unpredictable. This underscores the urgency of shifting to clean energy and curbing the carbon pollution that is driving the climate crisis.
We need urgent action to slash climate pollution and reduce our dependence on dirty fossil fuels if we are to avert climate catastrophe. And following the 2022 passage of the Inflation Reduction Act, the historic climate bill, we must work with the Biden administration and Congress to continue the implementation of this landmark investment in our climate future. Lastly, we’ll keep working to ensure safe drinking water for all, accelerate our transition to electric vehicles, and more.
