Thanks for protecting New York’s pollinators and people!

Thanks for protecting New York’s pollinators and people!

After three years of relentless advocacy and tens of thousands of letters and calls from activists like you, we did it: Governor Hochul signed the Birds and Bees Protection Act just hours before time ran out.

This first-of-its-kind bill will:

  • Eliminate up to 80-90% of neonics annually entering New York’s environment
  • Restrict the use of neonic coatings on corn, soybean, and wheat seeds – making New York the first state in the nation to do so
  • Prohibit neonics for lawn and garden uses, a major offender at polluting water sources
Let the leaders behind this bill know you’re happy that they heard your calls to get neonics out of New York!
Thank Governor Hochul, Assemblymember Glick, and Senator Hoylman-Sigal for working together to pass the landmark Birds and Bees Protection Act.
