The Arctic is at risk with House Republicans moving forward with alarming budget legislation that would let corporate polluters drill in the Arctic and sell off public lands for cash to pay for billionaire tax cuts. At the same time, conservation champions in Congress introduced the, much-needed Arctic Refuge Protection Act, which will help permanently protect the pristine Arctic Refuge’s Coastal Plain from drilling. Tell your lawmakers to protect the Arctic and other public lands from dirty oil and gas drilling.

3. Block attempts to bypass common-sense environmental and judicial review at each step of the leasing and development process

4. Help stop cuts to environmental and public health safeguards

5. Support the Arctic Refuge Protection Act that would forever protect the Coastal Plain of the Refuge from being drilled for fossil fuels

Even the biggest players in the oil industry recognized that drilling in the Arctic Refuge makes no sense when they failed to show up for recent lease sales.

We stand united in defense of the Arctic. We will not stop fighting for the Arctic’s permanent protection, and protection for our public lands and waters, no matter who is in office.
