Tell the Trump administration not to auction off our oceans for dirty oil and gas drilling.

The Trump administration is developing a new proposal that could dramatically increase offshore oil and gas leasing, opening up huge swaths of ocean from the Gulf to the Arctic for dirty drilling.
The administration is seeking public comments on their plans, but only until June 16 — so we need as many people as possible to speak up and say no to dangerous offshore drilling.
The Trump administration is prioritizing drilling under the guise of solving a “National Energy Emergency.” But the U.S. is not in an energy emergency — we’re the world’s leading producer of oil and gas. This is yet another attack on our shared ocean waters for fossil fuel industry profits.
Who pays the price? Coastal communities that depend on healthy oceans for their livelihoods and countless marine wildlife species, including critically endangered Rice’s whales and Cook Inlet belugas, that make their homes in these waters. And more drilling increases the risk of catastrophic oil spills and more extreme weather events.
Help show the administration that there’s overwhelming public opposition to destructive offshore drilling: Submit your comment by the June 16 deadline.
