Starting on day one, the Trump administration has been unlawfully defunding government programs, taking much-needed resources away from communities, and undermining the missions of agencies responsible for protecting our health and environment. They have been firing thousands of government employees at key agencies like the EPA, NOAA, and FEMA, and that leaves us dangerously ill-prepared for responding to hurricanes and other disasters.
