Grizzly bears.

The Trump administration announced dangerous plans to roll back lifesaving Endangered Species Act (ESA) protections for countless wildlife — the latest attempt to allow unbridled access to wildlife habitat to make money for corporate polluters.

The administration is accepting public comments on these disastrous proposals, but only giving us until December 22. We need your help: Submit a public comment opposing the Trump administration’s deadly plans to gut vital protections for imperiled wildlife.

A million species are at risk of extinction in the coming decades, including grizzly bears, Florida panthers, and manatees. They’re already facing increasingly dire threats, including climate change, habitat destruction, and pollution.

NRDC sued the first Trump administration when it finalized these same dangerous rollbacks. The Biden administration reversed them, and now the Trump administration wants to put them back in place. But nothing has changed: the rollbacks were unlawful then, and they’re unlawful now.

If the administration illegally finalizes these harmful proposals, NRDC is prepared to use every appropriate tool at our disposal — including going to court, if needed — to defend endangered and threatened species. But today, we need to mobilize an outcry too loud for the administration to ignore.

Show the Trump administration that the public overwhelmingly supports protecting imperiled species. Make your voice heard right away.
