Every day, heavy diesel trucks and other vehicles move in and out of warehouses, ports, and railyards across California — and communities nearby pay the price. These industries generate pollution linked to asthma, lung cancer, heart disease, and strokes.

Californians breathe some of the dirtiest air in the country. Over 90% of Californians live in communities impacted by unhealthy levels of air pollution and every year 1,500 people die from air pollution in Southern California alone.

California’s State Assembly is considering a bill right now, the Clean Skies Act (AB 1777), that would help the state regulate pollution from industrial sources. It's a strategy that’s already working in local communities.

But polluters are lobbying hard to kill this bill — and your assembly member needs to hear from YOU. Tell your CA assembly member that you’re counting on them to vote YES on AB 1777, the Clean Skies Act.
