The new administration and its fossil fuel allies have detailed plans in Project 2025, a big polluter blueprint for their second term, to roll back clean energy protections and tear down the critical safeguards that defend clean air and water, our wildlife, and our communities. We must stand together and fight back!

I am deeply concerned about attacks on our climate, clean air, and water. Already, the climate crisis is fueling more and more extreme weather, with devastating consequences for communities like mine across the country. The science points to even more catastrophic impacts if we fail to rein in pollution.

The Trump administration’s Project 2025 agenda will exacerbate the worsening climate crisis by tearing down critical safeguards that protect clean air and water, cut dangerous pollution, and accelerate the country’s transition to clean energy. These fundamental protections boost the economy, create jobs, and invest in local communities. We must do everything we can to defend them.

Please stand strong against the Trump administration’s attacks and Project 2025 by opposing any and all attempts to:

• Gut President Biden’s landmark climate law, the Inflation Reduction Act
• Roll back climate and public health protections
• Give billions to oil and gas companies
• Stop efforts to protect communities of color from environmental and public health risks
• Reject science by prohibiting the use of scientific facts and data to drive regulatory, enforcement, and legal decisions

Undoing lifesaving climate policies – and ignoring the science behind them – will compromise the health and safety of our communities, hurt the economy, leave us more vulnerable to increasingly intense and frequent extreme weather events, and jeopardize our nation’s ability to achieve our climate goals.
