Protect Arctic public lands from the administration’s attacks

The Trump administration proposed stripping protections for 13 million acres of the Western Arctic, opening the nation’s largest intact landscape to reckless fossil fuel operations. The Interior Department is accepting public comments on their proposal until August 4: Send a message opposing giving up the Western Arctic for climate-busting oil and gas drilling.

Tell the Trump administration we will not let them give Big Oil free rein to exploit the Western Arctic without a fight.

The Trump administration proposed stripping protections for 13 million acres of the Western Arctic, throwing open the nation’s largest intact landscape to reckless fossil fuel operations.

This is just the latest in a massive public lands giveaway to oil giants like ConocoPhillips, which has been creating a hub for fossil fuel development in the Arctic, while our climate and fragile Arctic ecosystem pay the price.

The Interior Department is seeking public comments on this dangerous proposal until August 4. We must flood them with messages opposing giving up the Western Arctic for climate-busting oil and gas drilling.
