Tell the Trump administration to reverse its plan to open up our forests to destructive logging.

Nina Riggio for NRDC
The Trump administration’s U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is pushing to open nearly 50 million acres of national forests to disastrous logging and road building by repealing the critically important Roadless Rule — yet another assault on our public lands to make corporations richer.
We need as many people as possible to speak out against this ruinous plan NOW.
Gutting the Roadless Rule would endanger wildlife habitat, imperil recreation areas, threaten drinking water sources, and worsen climate change. Despite what the administration says, eliminating the rule will not protect communities from wildfire impacts and could actually increase the risk of fire.
We are not letting our forests go without a fight. Make your voice heard before it’s too late.
