Congress is moving to weaken the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA), the nation’s most important law protecting the public from toxic chemicals.
These changes would roll back hard-won protections that keep dangerous chemicals out of our water, air, and everyday products — giving the chemical industry exactly what it wants: fewer rules, less oversight, and bigger profits at the expense of public health.
We can’t go back to a time when companies sold chemical-laden products without proving they were safe and families paid the price with polluted water, contaminated air, and higher health risks.
The chemical lobby may spend millions in Washington, but they don’t have what we do: Thousands of constituents demanding that Congress protect our health. After all, Congress works for us — not corporate polluters.
Tell your representative and senators to stand up for our health, stand strong against the chemical lobby, and reject all efforts to reopen or weaken TSCA and any other chemical safety protections.
